In 1963, Glenn Buege began his career as a service advisor at a GM dealership in the Detroit area. One busy Saturday, the sales manager asked him to help with some customers. That day, Glenn sold three Cadillacs, and by Monday, he had made up his mind to pursue a career in sales. After working his way to Sales Manager he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a Dealer. In 1988, Glenn, along with his wife, Elizabeth, and their 3 daughters, moved to mid-Michigan and purchased a Buick dealership in Lansing, which became Glenn Buege Buick GMC.
Elizabeth transitioned from her career as a visiting nurse to take on the role of customer relations manager at the dealership. Their daughters contributed to the business as porters, service advisors, and sales staff. Under Glenn's leadership, Glenn Buege Buick GMC achieved the highest Customer Satisfaction rating for 21 consecutive months.
In 1993, Glenn expanded his business by acquiring a Chevrolet dealership in Eaton Rapids, which became Glenn Buege Chevrolet Oldsmobile. After selling Glenn Buege Buick GMC in 2019, many of the dealership's staff joined Glenn Buege Chevrolet in Eaton Rapids.
Glenn's motto has always been simple: "Do what's right."
He believes that retaining loyal customers is far more cost-effective than constantly acquiring new ones. That's why, at Glenn Buege Chevrolet, our sales associates go above and beyond to guide each customer through the entire process-from selecting the perfect vehicle to signing the purchase documents-ensuring a stress-free experience every step of the way. Our Service Department and Body Shop members are all highly trained and listen to each customer's concerns.
Now, at 84 years old, Glenn remains active in the dealership nearly every day. In 2023, his daughter Allison took on the role of Dealer, continuing her father's vision and dedication to excellent customer service.
